Teaching Microbiology in Higher Education symposium at Annual Conference 2022
The event will once again bring teaching-active members together to share their experiences of teaching during the pandemic, refresh their skills and grow their personal support networks.
Attendees will learn about diversifying teaching and how others have made microbiology more accessible, including good practice within a blended learning approach. We will also explore examples of outreach work, including remote outreach activities, as many of us transition into a hybrid of online and in-person practices. The session will close with a round table discussion between speakers and attendees to reflect on and consolidate the talks delivered during the symposium.
Those involved in teaching and outreach, pursuing a teaching-focused role or just wishing to keep up to date with new practices are encouraged to attend, including postdoctoral and PhD demonstrators. The session is open to all attendees registered for the Annual Conference 2022. Find out more on the Annual Conference programme page.
