Champions Scheme recruitment now open
Funding, guidance and promotion is provided by the Society to support Champions to organise activities and an online community of other Champions allows them to network with microbiologists all over the world.
Becoming a Champion allows members to showcase their work, expand their networks and further their professional development.

We operate two recruitment periods annually to help ensure we can provide a thorough onboarding process that allows new Champions to feel confident in their role. The first recruitment period of the year is now open and the deadline to apply to join the Scheme is Tuesday 30 April 2024.
As part of the recruitment process, new Champions will also need to attend a training session on Thursday 23 May 2024.
