Join the Journal of Medical Microbiology Board of Reviewers
Our journals Microbiology, Journal of General Virology and Microbial Genomics have Boards of Reviewers, and this year we are extending this scheme to the Journal of Medical Microbiology. Members of the Board of Reviewers will be acknowledged as part of the journal and, as with all reviewers for the Society’s journals, have the option to have their review activities deposited in their ORCiD records.
“We are excited to launch a Board of Reviewers for JMM. Reviewers perform a great service to the Society journals as part of the editorial process. They are our ‘gate-keepers’ ensuring the rigour and quality of our publications. Please join us!”
Dr Norman K. Fry, Co-Editor-in Chief, Journal of Medical Microbiology.
If you are interested in joining the JMM Board of Reviewers, you will need to:
- Be qualified to PhD level or equivalent in a relevant subject. We particularly welcome applicants from clinical, medical, public health and veterinary sciences and those that work across the infection science spectrum.
- Be an active researcher.
- Have five or more recent publications in peer-reviewed journals.
To apply, please send your CV to t.khanom@microbiologysociety.org. This scheme is ongoing; however, we encourage you to apply before the end of October 2021.
