Society Events Grant for Annual Conference 2024 is now open
This year, any member – irrespective of location – in any of the following grades can now apply for funding if they have held membership for a minimum period of one year and paid two consecutive membership fees. Presenting work at our events is no longer an eligibility requirement.
Full Member
Full Concessionary Member
Postgraduate Student Member
Undergraduate Student Member
Eligible members in the UK and Ireland can apply for funding to attend Annual Conference up to £350, and up to £650 is available for eligible members outside the UK.
Awards are intended as a contribution to the costs of registration, travel and accommodation to attend the event. Awards are made on the basis that funds are sought from as many avenues as are available to the applicants.
An additional £400 is available to support the attendance of members requiring caring costs and who would otherwise find attending Annual Conference difficult. This includes members returning from maternity or paternity leave, those requiring childcare or a carer to attend with them or those with any other similar barrier to attendance. Eligible Members should request this in the caring cost grant section of the application form.
